I'm looking for a new boat...

I've been looking at a Tige' RZR, Nautique 226, Supreme V226 and I want to look at the Sanger V237.

I've tried looking through older posts for the V237 but I can't seem to find any pictures of the boat or the surf wave.

Pics and or video would be great!

We will have many pics and video after the polar bear, since one is going to be there.

check out sangernation.com, there was a thread on this over there IIRC. Sangers are great boats are are known for putting out a great surf wake and good wakeboarding wake. I have a V215 and love it!!!! Great surf and wakeboard wake

I have around 60 pictures of my 2008 V237 in photobucket....so let me know what your looking for and I probably have a picture of it.

I don't have pictures of the wake, but I know it's good! I would add 800lbs to the surf side locker and it threw a great wake.

Sanger makes a beautiful boat, the sides are straight and slick unlike some I have seen that have ripples down the sides but IMO if you want a world class wake go with an Enzo. I haven't seen a RZ3 maxed out yet though.
So far I have cut the hard tanks out of a 2013 237, added 500lbs of flat steel under the port seats, added 1 1100lb sac to the port locker and a 300lb to the starboard locker. If you want to keep the sacs hidden that is about all of the weight you can get in a 237. They added a bunch of room in the cockpit but that made the lockers small...not much room for weight. The 237 has a great wakeboard wake straight from the factory.

Really just looking for pics or video of the surf wake. I've heard that it's really clean and can be adjusted from mellow to steep with the two trim tabs... I also want a good long wave with good push.

The Enzo I know will put out a great wave but every enzo I've been in rattles and vibrates like crazy... even the 2012 that my good friend has.

The RZR throws a great wave with very little weight (great fuel economy) but I think it's a little too steep for skim. We've gone out a few times and the trim tab has to be at 2 or less to keep the wave from rolling over your feet but it also loses height with the trim tab set like that. Has anyone here gotten a great skim wave out of the RZR? Also, IMO, seems like the boat is a little too narrow but sure looks and handles nice!

The trim tabs on a 237 are setup to only have about 2-2.5" of travel at the ram. You can change where the wash is but not really change the shape of the wake much without moving weight around. Sorry no photos, good luck

I made a video back in 2008 before wake9 started. It was of Johnny Stieg, Dennis Horton, RJ, and Cory (can't remember last name) riding behind the 237. This was teh surf edition with the surf tabs. I remember the shape of the 237 to be pretty similar to the RZ2 for comparison. If you are thinking of a Sanger with more of a skim wave like you are describing, you may want to check out the V230.

Thanks all for the help.

I have the chance to go demo a 237 this week. It's not the surf edition but hopefully will give me a good glimse of the surf capabilities. Not sure if I want a boat that needs a ton of ballast. That's where the RZR is such a sweet ride. Time will tell I guess.

How is the surf wave on a newer SAN 210 TE? Just to throw another boat into the mix...

A guy with a 2012 uploaded a video for mywake, and the wake looked REALLY nice. If you go to the mywake site you can filter by boats, kinda fun to look at different wakes, but some are not correct, people filling in the wrong thing. This one I spoke to the guy and confirmed.

2013 V237
1100 in port locker, 500lbs steel under port seats, 350lbs starboard locker, apx 200lbs in front ballast, only 2 in boat .10.7mph with starboard tab set at 3, port 0.
Rub rail apx 1" below surface, deck 6" below sitting still. Tough to tell but wake is apx mid thigh high but over waist high when standing on the deck.

Couple pictures from this summer. We had no problem with the size of the stock wake for Kids to go wireless and with 750# fat sack in the rear locker we had a great wake with lots of push.

late response, but here are some links to 237 pictures and videos. We sell our DFW Surf Series 237 demo boat every year, or you can check out Boat Trader or contact your local dealer, sangerboats.com for more info there.
