Just wondering what the water temps are now--looks like it's getting hot up there! Are the weekends pretty crowded now? I'm planning on being up there in a few weeks (July 16-19) and am hoping there will be some nice water!

Bathwater by now, not sure of the actual temps. If you want any kind of good water, get up real early. Otherwise boat chop dominates all day long. San Antonio will probly be less crowded.

It is to the point now where it is almost not refreshing to jump in it. Certain spots are still cooler but most of the coves are very warm, upper 70's for sure. I'll let you know in about 2 hours when I get home and out on the water.

Tracy,I can't think of a lake in Cali that is not crowded once the weather heats up.The only way to get decent water is to get out at dawn or,go out during the week.

Jerry, agree weekends are way too crowded now! we'll be doing weekdays now, I guess.

Bob-we'll be up there the same week in our '06 vride (yellow & black) and will have to fly the pirate flag also!

I love NACI but during the weekends it is all about drinking and kicking back because the lake becomes an ocean. The water is perfect temp. The last few days it has been so hot that after you jump in the water and get out your almost dry again.

this weekend it hit 105. it should be 90-100 when you come. right now the bugs are bad at night so off is highly recommend. as for water, not sure about sna antonio, but for naci hit the water early and you'll get good runs in until about 10-1030ish. then hit the lake from 630 to a lil after 8. we got great evening runs in on saturday. the water temp was--lets just say--warm.

Anyone else bombarded by spiders while they were there. I've never seen spider populations so out of whack. My boat looked like a spider web with all the little trailers on them.

Garold- I think i saw you there this weekend out in Las Tablas, it was very hot out there. When the breeze comes up it makes it more enjoyable like it did this weekend. We got in some good runs yesterday.
