Shipping a Tower.....any suggestions?

I need to get a tower shipped from Ohio to Texas. Anybody know of a good shipping company that is reasonable on price?

FedEx ground has decent rates and handles towers for me.

Thanks. I checked out their website, and since it is a residential-to-residential shipment, I'll have to use FedEx Freight.

Hey Kraig... I call moving companies... and just ask if they have any moves in the next few days... they should always have room to throw on a tower... just ask around....

I used Yellow Freight to ship an motor last year. It was under $200 from Texas to California. It had to be secured to a pallet.

Ive had large items including a tower delivered by ABF freight and they are pretty reasonable.

Thanks for all the info. I'll call around and see what I can find. I'm picking my boat up today, and can't wait to put a tower on it!
