Paddle Wheel system vs the new GPS based system?

If you are riding in an area with currents, won't the GPS system be off? After all...it is speed relative to the water that matters. We have currents in the delta which can be pretty strong at times...

I am thinking of sticking with the paddle wheel system.

yes it is based on "land speed" but its suppose to hold speed better...imo itd be better to get the gps speed based system and have the rider tell you to speed up or down a bit until it feels better.

If you have a paddlewheel based or pitot based speed speedometer already.. you can use PP Stagazer.. and just adjust based on your other speedos...

If you want a paddlewheel based system... go but a paddlewheel, servo motor, and throttle linkage... and you can have my Digital Wakeboard Pro Perfect Pass Gauge and Main Brain Unit for few hundred bucks.. and you will have yourself a Perfect Pass system in your boat for under $700!
