Marius and Substance

I am looking at both of these board and YES i am going to demo. WHo likes what? im looking for input from people who have both rideen these boards. (J-ROD) i think

These are very different.

My personal experience and opinions of course.

Substance: more abrupt pop, rides tighter, more edge hold into the wake.

Marius: Much softer landings, more forgiving, faster, loose ride, smoother release off the wake, different from anything else out there.

I am comparing a 138 Substance experience to a 140 Marius experience. Both great boards. You're making the right decision by demoing.

yeah thanks J rod i think i will like the Marius better now its the bindings part i leanding towards the teams or sphynx. Hey j rod any expirence with those?

Zack, I haven't crossdressed in a while. Everything is CWB for me. Although I did ride Evan's Transits a while back and they were killer! I think most of the liquid force bindings are really nice. Joe rides the teams I think.

tried the teams and the transits and trasits are nicer IMO.tried the sphynx at the store and were not too imperssed tho I tried the transits also in the store and wasn't a big fan till I rode them.

Zack, I ride the Teams. They are very supportive and have great hold. But when you crash hard they release like nothing. You can also put them on with socks. Bottom line
GET THE TEAMS!!!

The Substance is a mans board. With man pop and man landings. If you don't like it, go with something soft like that Marius..... Ha, ha, ha.

I would imagine them to be very different. I love the Substance, but am excited to ride the Marius. The Substance can be a bit un-forgiving, but when you are riding well it's awsome. Lots of straight up pop and really light for its size.

Substance has a abrupt pop and needs a longer cut to the wake. Marius has a smooth pop and you can get the same pop with a shorter aproch to the wake. The Substance lands a little harder than the Marius. They are but awsome boards, but if you want a huge pop like a King get a Krow King

I have the transits or had the transits! I love the way they fell, way better then my parks, but last night the whole left side of the right boot rip up from the plate. The overlay and the boot itself just ripped. When I get home I will get a pic. I have only had them a few weeks. IT SUCKS!!!!!!!

Ok i got the money but dad wont let me buy another board. Darn but he will let me buy new bindings. Hmm this sucks i wanted that marius too.
