Just wanted to send out a thank you to Tom at DWC Boardshop. Tom took the time to go into the shop on a scheduled day off to get me new boards for my wife and I. Very good experience and I would recommend checking them out. Tom informed me that they are getting ready to move from King Island to Tower park so look out for them. I am just stoked to finally have a good setup that I wanted to share.

Thanks guys, yeah I can't wait to try them out. I think I will try to tough it out and get out on the Delta Friday.
I have a question though, the bindings fit real good except for the strap labeled in the photo. How do I go about loosening them up? Is there a screw that I can loosen? I read of people using hot water to help loosen bindings, how hot? appreciate the help

nice! you will definitely like the better fitting bindings. we (our family) shared a board and bindings (same chaser universal fit) and gladly moved on to our own board/bindings. having bindings that really fit make a big difference-as you probably found out your first time out.

(hinge tech rocks!)

Just ride in them and beak them in. The hot water works good to loosen them a bit. Sweet setups.

yeah, ride them a few times and see what you think. If they haven't loosened enough, then you can take that strap out. Different people like them different ways. I prefer it in, some of my friends prefer it out.

Yulp....can't be loosened. I took mine out all together but be warned...you could end up with heel lift wihout it. I would remove one side of one strap, put the boot on, and make your call from there. I know team rider Jeff House removed his also.

J-Rod,

Did you try taking a hole punch and notching the spit in the strap. That relieves some of the tightness. I played around with a pair and it worked pretty good.

Thanks...where were you a year ago with your bright idea? BTW....I hate how your screen name shows up blank on the last post.

I thought that strap would be too tight when I first put on the boots, but once you ride them a couple times you'll end up liking it. Zero heel lift and it doesn't hurt your foot or anything after they're broken in.
