I'm looking to get a beginner/intermediate board and need a little advise on what to go for. I'm around 170lbs and would like a board that caters from my weight up to around 220lbs - what size board should I bel looking at. I'l probably stick to Liquid Force, Hyperlite etc as they are easier to get your hands on over in the UK but a little direction at the front end would certainly help.

Cheers.

The Hyperlight Broadcast 5.6 is a good beginner board.

Oh I forgot my disclaimer. In past years Hyperlight has donated wakeboards to events that I have organized.

I have the smaller HL skim style and it's too slow, and can't comment on the 5.6.

CWB Ride is about the size you are looking for and in a good price point and surprisingly very fast. 200lb guy owns it and rocks it.
