i learned my backrolls on the tramp before i took them to the water...and i will say that the invert/rotation is the same...i just had to figure out the progressive cut in, line tension, and getting the right pop...im learning off axis 1's and im getting everything but the landing.. for me the tramp is a golden ticket...well almost.... it helps build confidence getting inverted/off axis..i love the tramp.....good luck

trampoline is money dude. ive had mine up forever with rope and handle in the tree, and i have learned so much from it. muscle memory really. for me with bigger tricks its the same motion and stuff just more weight you are throwing around so it lags a little. trust me the tramp is money

It's definitely the best off-water training tool available. My awareness while being inverted has improved a ton since I got mine. It's also helped me feel more comfortable spinning, too. The only catch is that the initiation of a flip on a trampoline is much different than on the water. On the tramp, you flip by throwing your body weight around, but behind the boat your board, wake and how you edge do all the work for you.

i agree with mark on this one. i can throw backrolls all day long behind the boat, but may only land one out of 5 on the tramp. and i can land tantrums(backflips) on the tramp all day long, but cant do it behind the boat. but i dunno...some people live by them tho..to each his own i guess

That's funny Josh. I'm the opposite. I can backroll all day long on the tramp but have a hard time on the water. I'm scared to do Tannys on the tramp, and have no probs on the water.

Matt, I'm sure it helps, it's fun and is a good 'filler' when you can't get on the water.
