I'm puzzled by the lack of advertising, updates, photos, etc... All I see is people continually asking for more updates, more photos and the opening date! But no one gets a good response. What's up with that?

You will see plenty of advertising/Promotion, when that time comes.
We are working hard to get the park done, but we ran into some problems in the beginning of the digging stage of the lake that put us about 3 months behind.
The lake is now at depth, we are sealing the sides of the lake as we speak.
We have 4 rails completed and we just started on the fifth rail/obstacle.
In the next 3 to 4 weeks we will start posting pics of the lake and the obstacles, we just want to wait until we get to a certain point of the project to start posting pics.

It will be well worth the wait, things will start going really fast here in the next 3 to 4 weeks, lots of info and pics will be posted soon.

I know that the lakes dug around here have been sealed with a layer of Bentonite clay.

wouldnt that make the water murky? i want t know if like limestone sand would work or what else may work so the water will stay clear

Limestone bottom= sealed bottom, trust me we have had to pump out millions of gallons of water from the rain storms.
Sides are being sealed with Clay.
We are pouring the concrete footings for the towers this week, the towers and cable system are in route from Germany.
A lot more to come soon.

so will the clay make it murky? is there a way to use limestone to seal the whole lake?
Old     (dadthedriver)      Join Date: Jul 2004       07-01-2009, 10:28 AM Reply
No the clay does not really make the lake murky. It is laid down and packed with heavy equipment then another layer of base material is laid over that. The clay is buried under the sand or whatever you put down on the bottom of the lake.

Oh i c wow i feel like a dumbass of course sand will be on top of it what was i thinking. All i know is that i have tried to find land here around Jacksonville, FL to do a cable park and i cannot seem to find enough land. But with the system 2.o i may be able to find enough land to do a couple of those set ups, but who knows

putting posts for rails through the sealer won't mess anything up and cause it to not be sealed?

All our rails and obstacles are floating with anchor systems, they are not in the ground.
We want to be able to move the Obstacles around a couple times a year to change it up a little.

What are the obstacles so far Jeff?
Old     (jsweat)      Join Date: Apr 2007       07-01-2009, 12:17 PM Reply
how are you going to anchor them?
Old     (innov8)      Join Date: May 2005       07-01-2009, 12:35 PM Reply
Justin that info will be out soon.
I will tell you that both our kicker and wedge are adjustable by remote control, really sick.

Jeremy, with custom anchor systems we are building, more info soon.

Jeff - Will the remote control kicker work like a catapult where you can flip the switch while I'm riding up it to get me some major air time?

I think our insurance would have a problem with that Eubanks.
