yea that mobius is mine..but some of the stuff was shot at world wakeboard center and they use supra's which is pretty much the same boat.

I've got a Mobius LSV as well and have been dying to know what set up other people use. What speed/weight setup/rope length do you use?
Old     (wakeboardlf25)      Join Date: May 2007       09-03-2008, 10:28 AM Reply
well my mobius is the XLV so its a lil bit bigger..but i have the gravity 3 ballast all the way full as well as another 300 bag in the bow, and usually bout 2 or 3 ppl. i ride at 80ft 24mph...my speedometer is 4mph off so it actually says im goin bout 28-29 mph lol

man, I'm nowhere close to 80 feet, I'm at like...55 or 60. 65 at best Do you know your weight for your ballast system? I've got mine larger than stock for sure, but I mean an approximate front/back weight? They changed the size of the ballast a few times over the years is the problem :-(

I should mention the issue is the wake curles over, not that I can't add rope. We used to ride at 25.5, plate down, rope at about 70 and that put us at the very edge of the good wake, before it rolled over. We had 1000 in the back and about 1200 in the front and 3 people :\

BEN for my boat i think we use about the same weight that you got on urs...i ride with the wake plate at 50%...if u got a gps or get a chase boat beside you u might wanna see how fast your boat really is going it might be off like mine

I have a LSV and i have 2 450s in the back compartments and i have a 650 in the middle with usually 4 people. You shouldn't run the plate all the way up itll make the wake super steep. Just get out there at a comfortable speed and use the plate to clean the wake up.

I must have listened to that song at least three times every time I went out riding this year.
Yeah man, I wish I could do what you can do behind a boat like yours. lol.
