My first suggestion would be to network with other winchers. I think the Liquid Playground had a video premier tonight (unfortunately I am stuck at work). There are usually a few winchers (skaters) at those. Its generally a kind of secretive thing similar to Rail locations. People dont want to advertise the spots.

no video tonight, its next week. but ive got a pretty good spot that i could put a rail in by my house, a good 1000 foot pull. less then 2 miles from my house. so i wasnt really looking for a rail site. espically considering i have all the materials except for the trex. I was looking for a gap though. i cant seem to find any that are even semi close but i totally understand how people done want to advertise their spots, i was just hoping someone might be willing to share

Yah, I would be totally down to hit a gap too. I am going to try and make the 9-10 parks premier (hopefully it doesnt get pushed back again). We should chat it up and try to set up something.

Justin Fisher is this crazy dude who winches the most insane spots. Just out of control gaps, drops, and slides. I have seen him in the magazines and the videos. Gabe Lucas gets alot of credit for creative winching/spots, but Fisher was on to that stuff early on. I think he might rap too, seems kinda like a gangsta.

There's a shot of a spot in San Mateo in this months wakeboardin mag, the building in the background looks pretty distinct so should be easy to find, maybe get a hold of a copy....
