on the 07 and now 98 Watsons, there are these inserts you plug the end of the lace into to help keep them from flailing around.
Every run mine come loose and the lace gets stuck under the boot (lots of invert crashs)
Anyone experience this and have a solution?

yep.. and no solution other than trying to tuck them into the boot.

IS there a "Lace-dangle-preventor" that works 100% of the time? never pops off, even in some of the toughest crashes and only comes off when you want it? i want to think not, but i definitely can't brag about how many different boots i have tried.

but ass for preventing the laces going under the boot... i shortened my D2 boot laces. I found they were longer then necessary. I loosened up the boot as far as it would go (speaking of how wide the tongue would open and not the lace length) then cut off the excess lace. in otherwords, there was more lace then needed to loosen the boot all the way..... maybe your watsons are the same. (i used to tuck in the laces, but it is kinda uncomfortable)

It makes a big difference if you put them in the right way. You may already know this but it took me a while before I realized there is a right way and a wrong way(try turning them around). They use to always pop out on me cause I just shoved them in without paying attention. Now they almost never come out.

try tucking them through the gorilla grip on the back, then into the holster...seems to help them stay tucked.

I didn't notice mine until halfway through the season. It was kind of funny, The laces had been fastened already, and i didn't want to "F" anything up by messin with it too much, soo I just looked at them and was like-"oh that's cool".
One day, I was lacing them and one popped out of the insert. It was then that I realized I needed to be much more observant.
