Any wake shops out here in the western Mass./greenfield/northampton area? Jonesing for summer and my trip to Orlando and I can't find a local shop. I'm willing to drive up to an hour from Greenfield. Any info would be super duper, thanx a ton guys! You all rock!

Bess,
If you feel like traveling...Take the pike to Ex 11 (Millbury/Worcester) Check out Marine USA Inc. 200 South Cutoff (Rt. 20)Worcester MA 01604 - Obrien, Hyperlite, CWB...(800.370.2628)
Give them a buzz and see what they have in stock.

I buy from barts watersports, never had a problem and I've been doing business with them for 15 yrs. Biggest selection, great prices!!

You zany north-east people!

If you're happy with mail order, give my man Craig a call at Surf & Offshore, tell him you're one of
my crew and he'll probably beat any other deal you can find.

732-892-8303 He has an 800 too number but I don't know it. Maybe it's some where on his website.

I would definitely call Marine USA or Doug Russell first...I've never got any good deals with them...I am a happy customer of Craigslist and ebay...

Alex thanx for the info, but right now I'm jut looking for a place where I can go and look at the newest stuff, talk some shop and maybe pick up a DVD. I know, its kinda cheesy but I just want to be arround the sport right now and a shop is going to be the best fix till I can get on the water. Jeffery when you say the pike are u refering to 495, 95, rt2? I'm not a native Massachusetts person just here for school so I don't know a lot of the local lingo.

MA Pike is the freeway that runs right through the center of the state W to E (ends up going straight into Boston). It depends on just how far west you are, but there should be an easy pickup somewhere around there - I mean it's the most major road in the state next to 128/95 so if you ask anyone local they should be able to hook you up with directions to an onramp. You should know that despite the efforts of Beacon Hill this year to remove them W of 95, it is still a toll road. Good luck! Oh, and you can always mapquest it. Personally, I know there's a nice shop in CT that my buddy used to go to, but I can't remember the name - maybe it was Inland? Most of my purchases were online - I always found local in MA meant 2 year old board models and very limited selection, but maybe that's changed in Western.
