Melissa vs Jett

Okay so I've been doing some research with the help of the girlfriend trying to figure out what board she wants. We've narrowed it down to the 134 Melissa and the 136 Jett but we couldn't find much input on the differences so if all the ladies out there could chime in and tell us the likes and dislikes. I know she should try them before we buy one but that's probably not going to possible. Thanks for the help.

the Jett is more of a 3 stage aggressive board as the Melissa is aggressive continous. Is your GF experienced (wakeboarding)? does she like abrupt pop or smooth pop?

My girlfriend is an advanced rider (can do a few spins and flips). At the beginning of this season. She was between the Melissa and the Jett and rode both several times.

She settled on the Melissa. I don't exactly know why, but she can tell you. Feel free to call her. She works at M2 Sports in Houston. Also, beat her up on an 07--I think they have some.

ive ridden the trip (mens version of the melissa) and i loved it! great pop and pretty fast and tracked well but was loose when i wanted it to be, one of the best boards i rode this year!

i also rode the jett and personally i hated it! felt very sloppy and i couldn't get it to pop for anything, it was the worst board i rode this year. but thats my opinion, i have lots of friends that ride that shape and love it

Get a new girlfriend who has a board, might be easier

Nick, not a bad idea. I have left a string of wakeboards (now in a closet never to be used again) and heart-ache all across the state of Texas.

I am now dating my first girlfriend who came with a board and I think she is a keeper.
