Air Bags for Towing

Have any of you installed air bags in your rear suspension to help level your vehicle when towing? What are the pros and cons? I know Firestone makes a rear air bag kit. Is this the best one, or are other mfr's better?

I just put the Firestone bags into our 2003 Denali and it made a world of difference in the towing ride. Has less sway and a better ride, helps a lot. Best part was easy to install and cheaper than other suspension kits.

I put a system from Air Lift Company to include an onboard compressor and it was the best thing i've done.

Factory on mine and they are great. They give a constant quality to the ride and keep you steering more consistent.

I've used Firestone Ride-Rite helpers in all of my vehicles, and they're worth the money. My Denali has OEM air ride, but it's still not enough for my heavy boat.

I also used the air lift bags. I agree with the other guys... they help a lot.

I put in the Air Lift system. It really does add a lot to the stability of the tow vehicle.
