you might be able to find an older Malibu Sunsetter or even (if your lucky) an old Mastercraft Prostar 205, An older Sanger DLX would also be nice.
Those would be my choices if i were you.

For $15K I hope they meant a direct drive. Not to many V's floating around in that price range

Supra Sunsport.. hands down. Throw a Launch Pad on either side of the engine, a waterbed mattress in the coffin up front, and another either under the back seat or in the back storage hatch and you have a VERY big, clean wake. My first inboard was a '96 Sunsport and it was an awesome wake. If you get an 89 and newer it is basically the same hull shape as the original Supra Launch, which, if you research, has one of the best wakes of any direct drive boat. The boat is huge, lots of room, lots of storage. Check www.boattraderonline.com for some in your area.

Keep looking around - I found a 2000 Moomba Kamberra V-Drive for 15,000. It only had 275 hours on it when I bought it. Timing is generally everything. I bought it in January when boats arent selling much. And I bought it from a dealer who had taken it on trade and wanted it off their lot for the new inventory.

Keep watching www.boattraderonline.com and www.usedboats.com

two V-Drive boats - one is under 15G.
