Yeah this is a very important issue to follow. It might not affect you now, but will start laying the ground work and set precedent for other stretchs of the river and other parts of the country if we don't address it now. It is a very real situation and the more support the better. The growing support has already shown a huge impact and seems to be helping.

Please pass this on. USA Waterski has a complete manual dealing with such issues. There is over 40 years of work and is still in progress. Hope this helps

You guys really should be proud of yourselves for your efforts and all that you've accomplished so far. It sounds like you've moved the OSMB a long ways from their initial recommendations on this. (I'm still trying to understand how they say a 5,000 lb. boat can throw a 3-foot wake, as reported early-on in the Willamette Week...).

This seems pretty reasonable from an outsider's pespective. But then again, I am used to speed control zones on Lake WA... but I don't know the Willamette at all.

Keep up the hard work, and congrats for all you've accomplished so far.

Thanks Diggs. If anyone in Oregon is willing to send USA Waterski a position paper on the results, we will make sure to add it to the manual so that others can use it.

I past it along and our folks have already been talking to USA Waterski. I will make sure they pass on results as this unfolds...
