Awesome weather and lotta butta (Canadian Thanksgiving)

water was about 60-63 degrees on the weekend and air was in the mid 70's... can't complain for a Thanksgiving Canadian style.

Air was still much of the weekend so waters were pretty much glass for three days straight.

Got out for the easy boarding as my knee is finally on the mend. Did some surfing too.

Managed to go on saturday and sunday without a wetsuit but on monday I did break it out as I didn't want the "shock" of going into the water.

Got some neat angles with the 400mm lens on the 5d Mark II from the dock.

Thought I would share.

^Our excuse to eat turkey early. Pictures look awesome, I'm jealous. I think I've stayed at a cottage on your lake, your boat and dock look familiar. Either way, you're a lucky duck.

Greg, I board in Ontario as well. Yeah, the weekend was unbelieveable!! I saw people skiing/wakeboarding and kids swimming. I don't think I've ever seen that on Thanksgiving. The saw the water hit 66 degrees where I was. Normally the water is about 54-56 on this weekend. The lakes were butter and I think we even broke a record or two. I know Sunday we broke the temperature record at 26 Celsius. Couldn't have asked for better weather over the weekend, especially considering the crappy weather we had the weekend before.

You just made me consider moving to Canada at some point.

Ben- ya not too many xstars sitting around Love our lake especially since it's on the trent-severn system so I can go boating for miles...

Greg- ya weather isn't normally this warm but I am not complaining! last weekend was a wash.... Good for ATV riding though as the wind was howling with 40mph gusts!

Sherwin- Canada is great and we have a solid banking system and property values that actually appreciate

Guess only drawback is our stupid income tax and harmonized sales tax BS...

Well I'm jealous...

Are you able to drive your boat into that position on the dock. Or do you have tp drag it into the position?

I drive it in... water depth at back of platform is at my chest. By the bow the water is already like 16' deep.
