Stock Stereo

O.K, what boat manufacturer has the best stock stereo. Mine is a new Supra 22 and it's pretty good. It came stock with the following:

Kenwood Head Unit
6 Interior Kicker 6.5" coaxels
4 Tower Kicker 6.5" Components
10" Kicker Sub
Kicker 250.2 Amp running Towers
Kicker 700.5 Amp running Interier and Sub

Overall this system sounds pretty good but sub really rattles due to being mounted on a a baffle board under the dash.

I have added another sub/amp in a box (JL 10W6 with 250/1 amp) plus a pair of JL Tweeters) and the system is more than adequate. I will probably not do anything else or replace any components at this time or at least until I hear something better.

can you hear the kicker components on the tower while riding?
If not, I would replace those

^^^ Probably not with the 250.2 power 4 speakers Each tower speaker is getting just over 60W RMS.

zx250.2 = 125W RMS x 2 @ 2ohms.

More powerful speakers will just add to the problem, so I would recommend an amp upgrade first if not satisfied. Kicker zx650.4 = 120W RMS x 4 @ 4ohms.
