no it's actually me sitting on my wake skate cuz i got kinda bored, it was totally awesome i was able to get up for around 10 seconds before i started porposing too badly because all my weight was on the tail, it's definitely a challenge to keep from drowning though, i suggest you try it.

From that description, you're not going to convince anyone to try it.

You guys should try wakeskate battles. Get 2-5 people out on skates and arm them with foam bats, last man standing wins. Points can and will be awarded for flying linebacker takedowns. Good times...

I was going to say it was Davey Jones' cursed pirate wakeboard boat rising from the depths with flags on the tower.

Have the driver cruise about 18 or so and sit down on the skate while moving. Keep one hand on the front of the skate to keep it stable as you sit down. Get your feet in front of you to drag (to stop the bouncing), have the drive go to full throttle and barefoot off the skate!

wow, pop, i really might try that, but i wear shoes when i skate, can you barefoot in sneakers?

Even easier in sneakers.

Yep, works great with shoes. I do that every once in awhile when I am ready to call it quits for the day, except I go from skating to "hanging 10" to sit. To stop the porpising just scoot your rear forward on the skate.

haha..just the other day we decided to try human skiis...me and two other guys all just hung out to ski ropes, then when we planed out, one of them stood on the two of us..it was pretty sweet.....its amazing what kind of ideas people can come up with on the lake isn't it....

oh and hey, pop,...that should work, we do it off of knee boards all the time...the hardest part will be sitting down....

one of my favorite things to do after wakeboarding is to just hang onto the rope and right before the boat goes, try to swim as deep as possible. This creates a crazy feeling of getting pulled down and then shooting up to the surface. Make sure you take a deep breath...

whats a knee board war?
Old    mendo247            08-02-2006, 9:31 AM Reply
basically what heavy was talking about.. get about four guys and strap on kneeboards and try to take each other out... basically turns into a brawl lol last person riding wins! i added about five feet to my line when nobody was looking one time and had a blast!

We play Ass Drag. 2 or 3 people hang on to the handle at the same time to see who can hang on the longest. It's funner than it sounds.
