new engine & new upholstery. anything else?

my boat is a complete shell right now. i have a new engine sitting in the garage and the upholstery is out getting redone. i changed the steering cable earlier this year. i was wondering if anyone had any other ideas of things i should do since everything is so accessible?

Here's an idea...take some pictures and post em up. Your project sounds good

new cutless bearing, grease your rudder, paint the bilge, replace fuel lines if your boat is older, tighten any loose handrails/cleats, i'm out

All good tips Salty and I'll add check stringers, fuel tank, fuel sender.

Add an RVC and I think you'll be in great shape... LOL

Alan, get your head out of the mechanical stuff and into the audio. You know the Revolution Volume Control (RVC). We need to see some pictures of before, during and after.

Plan out some ballast options if you don't already have that worked out.

have the engine/tranny aligned when you drop it in. You're going to have a new boat when you're done!

check your muffler bearings and canooter valves

maybe your blinker fluid too.
