A 20 or 21 foot Tomcat, nice. Wonder what airplane this one's gonna be named after? Eagle? Falcon? Hornet? Raptor? Maybe they'll go back to WWII aircraft and we'll have a mustang or Warthog. . .In all seriousness though, it will be cool to see when it comes out.

Is it me, or does the bow look extremely short?

It looks like if you sit in the bow with your back facing the stern, your legs will hang over the nose.

Ryan, you're right, my bad! As for the bow area being short, that seems to be a trend in these shorter boats. Trading off a smaller bow area for more seating in the center.

the bow is smaller but that pic is a little misleading as it's not that small. HOwever, you are right Nick, the interior cabin area is the same size as the "current" version of the Tomcat... which will also be modified for '09 see pic.

that is so much wasted space, it doesnt make since to me. i mean why are the forks so long, thats a good foot or 2 that could be used for storage or seating.

then you are making a bigger boat. I am pretty sure the forks are not included when measuring the boat length.

Looks pretty good. Cant wait to see the final product. Not sure why people are calling it a copy cat, if you know anything about boats you know who came out with the first "forked" boat about 40 years ago lol

That looks alot better, 21ft Tomcat rumors may be true? WBMag boat buyers guide mentioned that MB was going with the picklefork on all models. OnlyInboards, did you get some pics of yer '08 Tomcat? Lets see them!

here's another one. I have to leave today but i've taken like 200 pics of the build so far and will put it all up with descriptions of what they did etc. It's pretty cool to watch a boat get built!
