Your thoughts on 2003 Hyperlite Byerly boots

I got some new bindings as well and haven't used them yet either. What are your thoughts on the 2003 Hyperlite Byerly boots?

Really comfy, easy to adjust and stuff, dont loosen while riding, allow you to ride bent knees which is really comfy and natural to me

nearly brought some but the guy in shop put me off by telling me that the BOA system breaks on pretty much every binding his sold. Replacement is easy though. Went for highbacks instead cos they offer more support around the ankle etc which I liked.

I tried them on at the boat shows last spring and loved how they felt. I held off buying though until I heard how they held up. I've had mixed reviews. The BOA system has been updated for 2004. I understand it's more beefy now and less likely to break. It's also being incorporated into Murray's new bindings, the Temet. I think I'm going with the 2004 version.

I've not had a problem with my BOA system either. I love my 03 Byerly's, coming from the 02 Belmonts and Parks, I really like the Byerly bindings. Maybe if you over tighten the BOA you might have problems. Just don't let your friends ride the bindings...

never had problems exept when i put them on improperly. make sure you buy them right size and to lock the boa system b4 entering the bindings.
