We're usually out 4 hrs 2x a week, I'll do 3 runs of 12 mins maybe....guess the gym would improve that

Light weights and cardio. Or, more cable riding, I seemed to get whipped into shape each season under the cable during the week (tons of actual on the water time).

I ride 20-30 minute sets daily over the summer. If I'm learning a trick I may spend an hour in the water until I get so tired I fear injury or start to make bad habits

you do have to take a day off once a week though, even at 21 my whole body feels like its falling apart after 6 days of riding. Landing from 8 feet up and taking edgers and falls every set takes its toll

15-20 mins, sometimes less if I'm whooped, longer if it's a small crew. I'd rather do a bunch of 10-15 min sets than a few 20-30 min sets. A few years back I'd do 40+ min sets since I rarely got out and often was the only one riding. That was rough, could hardly crawl back in the boat. 15-20 min sets with 4 riders seems about ideal to get 3-4 sets in and have enough time to rest between.

We ride for 45min.- 1hr. 3-4 sets a day. Longest run I have done is 2.5 hrs about 50 miles. Of course, I can hold on to the handle with a pinky finger, so it's not so bad.

during the summer my sets are around 45 mins like 3 a day. When we go on trips like 3+ hours of driving they are like 1.5 hours around 3 of those. my longest set was like 2.5 hours then two more 1.5 hours later that day but I could barley get back into the boat let alone bed that night haha.

during the summer I try to ride every day. Also if I am getting ready for a competition then my sets are shorter in time but more of them for the purpose of preparing for that cold start and short amount of time behind the boat.

It depends for me, usually about 15-20, although if I'm learning something new that is subject to change. Normally I fall pretty hard when learning stuff and I don't like being defeated lol! So I go until I land it or it is fairly obvious it isn't happening that day. On Crappy days, I can tell with in the first like 4 jumps and it isn't worth it so I just leave it for the day.

The first set is normally my best and I can normally ride for 20 minutes or so. Than after a good rest for a while they seem to keep getting shorter and shorter. Hitting the weights would help that tremendously for me I'm sure.

15-20 is usually my time as well. Ill usually take a second set 10-15min after everyone else went to work on a new trick.

Last summer I would ride about 2-3 10-15 minute sets and do that about 4 times a week. This summer, it was knocked down to once a week riding about the same duration. Ligament damage in both feet, torn rotator cuff and some other sporadic injuries keep me pretty limited unfortunately. Hoping to get that stuff fixed eventually though

I started P90X two weeks ago. It feels like a gorilla ripped off my arms. Went out riding tonight. Lasted 10 minutes. Moral of the story? Wait until after the season to begin off-season training.
