well LF has a new custom out for 08, its a 4'6" thruster model, which i was excited about but its just got 3 wakeboard fins i feel for $450 it should come with some real surf fins!
i didnt get one, i dont think i would spend the money on it, i think i would get a shred stixx or an inland surfer, for your height and weight i would recomed a inland surfer blue lake, my friend is your size and he shreds on that board! its much faster than a custom
no i dont think it will. i have that board and my friend is about 200lbs and he was able to ride it but barely at like 190 you are really pushing that board
you guys should look away form the big corporate boards, especially from ones with just wakeboard fins on them. thats how you can tell that a company isnt putting alot of luv into their boards. try checking out some boards from real surf style companies that have done alot of r and d to get to the spot they are now. jerry price makes insane boards that will blow that out of the water any day. also check out the new wave vehicals. both have input from some long time knowledgeable ocean surfers, and that is where the sport originated from. the only site i know of retailing these boards is thewakesurfshop.com (can be ordered in different sizes for the size of the rider too!)
i feel for $450 it should come with some real surf fins!
