hey dave wanna make a mobile site?
i can navigate the site on my phone but it gets pretty cumbersome after a while. a mobile site would be pretty cool. anyone agree?

Works Great on my phone, but I agree a page with out the Flash Banners would be great! I still use wakeworld on my cell like crazy as I am addicted to the site, but a mobile would be GREAT!

What would be even better would be a Wake World Mobile - like the Book Mobile. Remember that thing? The giant bus/van that drove around and would let you take books and just bring them back whenever? So like that, but with wakeboards!

We're working on getting the new "regular" site up right now and it will probably go live early 2010. A mobile app is on our wish list, but it won't be until after we complete the full size website. Unfortunately, at this point the number of users that would take advantage of it is pretty small compared to those using the regular site, so it's been pushed down the road a bit.

I would use it more if you did have the mobile version. The banners just take forever on the iPhone. Sounds like the main site is up for a face lift though eh? Sweet.

I am glad that I don't access WW on my smartphone. I spend enough time on it at work and home. I definitely don't need to be on the boat and viewing WW.

David, I think you are wrong on the numbers that would use it. However, you next poll question should be: "If WW was mobile phone friendly, would you view it?" Yes or No or Maybe

shoot im on here on my crackberry enough without it being mobile friendly. been doing it for years. can you upload pics on here from the crackberry? i have wanted to but never tried

I use my mobile to check WW, and would def be on more often it were a little faster to navigate from it.

Mobile sites are almost pointless with all the web enabled phones nowadays. I think it would be cool, but I bet there are better uses for Dave's time.
