Looking to get a new(used)boat. In my area there are several Sanger, Correct Craft and Ski Centurions for sale. I'm not looking to spend over 10000. Anyone have any suggestions on what boat make and model would throw the best wake? I'm pretty familiar with Correct Craft but not the other brands. Thanks for any info.

'82-'89 nautique 2001 or '90-'95 ski nautique.
2001 throws a better wake, ski rides/drives/handles weight better (and no wood in the boats from '93 on)

If your in need of room i would also throw out
supra sunsports and malibu sunsetters, both are open bows and can be had in that price range.

there is a 93 malibu sunsetter at Marine Max Tower Park. And the good partis that 93 was the year that malibu went to all fiberglass construction. It's listed at $8500.

The Sunsetter didn't move up to all fiberglass construction until '95. The Echelon was the first model that was all glass in '93.
