I decided to stop bummin rides on other peoples boats since I got a great deal on a I/O. Has anyone had any sucess making a big wake? If so how? Please give me any advice. Ballast location, trim adjustment etc. I have had a hard time keeping the boat on plane at 20 mph.

Weight in the front. On my I/O I weight the ski locker heavily and under the open bow seating.

Spend 1500 bucks...get perfect pass and a propeller suited to plane fast.

It won't make the wake bigger, but you will plane faster, and stay on plane.

Weight placement may vary...most i/o's need ballast in the front first.

weight in the front, your motor is ballast enough in the back + your peeps and get a 4 or 5 blade prop for speed control and plane
