Man that sucks (!) I heard one time that if the water is perfectly flat (as it looks here) it's hard to see the profile of the wake, so a slight ripple on the surface is better. Is this right?

Not exactly a hardship though I guess.

Peter, it can be hard to spot your landings when the water looks like that but it doesn't matter, it is worth it because the wake is bigger, the ride is smoother, and it is a rarity to get water like that for an entire set

Kyle- not on the delta! we eat butter for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Peter- only a problem if the sun is shining directly through the wake during sunrise and sunset.

Derby- too bad that is about as many boats as we saw ALL DAY :-)

Yeah that was too bad we didn’t get to share. Oh well, snooze you lose I guess.

It was also too bad we had to be there with the Great One. Yeah that’s right. You can almost see him about thirty yards down in the tulles. He was there all day, and nice most of it.

Then I don’t know what happened, one roller maybe two too many perhaps? He sprang from his guise and ran across the water with speed to rival only that of Jesus and gave me a roundhouse kick to the chest.

Yup it was him...Chuck Norris I'm sure.

But I’m not scared. His day will come…tomorrow I’m sure of it.

See you then Chucky!

Andrea,

Hows that neck? You ready for another today? I am.

You think Scott would mind if I strapped my walker to the tower? I'd hate to leave it on the dock.

HighYahhh!!!

I think we can squeeze it in the board racks along with my neck brace.

My helmet saved me from a concussion but gave me one hellofa case of whiplash...
maybe I can take a toe edge today and even it out?

Sorry I couldn't make it out with ya guys this week Andrea/Scott but it will be worth it next week when the project is finished. This week has been EPIC though, no wind, few boats and glass as far as one can see!!! I am hoping next week will be the same.

GD - I have seen my temp gauge read as high as 84 in some spots!!!

Butta in the slough I am working in too ( camera phone pic - sorry 4 quality ;)

Andrea,

Chuck didn’t show his face. He saw that I was wearing my ghee and changed his mind. Switch front 3...nothing now. It's all about the 5's baby.

See you next week!

Aaron, you sure you want to make a where’s Waldo out of that thing?

Derby Out and SLO bound…well after another Delta Day!
