time for a new board

so im currently riding a 2006 136 shane. i just want to try something new. what boards are simular to the shane. doesnt amtter which brand. also im 6' 165 pounds.

What don't you like about the shane? I was thinking about going with that board this year!

Shane is awesome, I had the 2006 Shane, and this year I am upgrading to the 2007 Shane, with Limited Bindings. The thing looks so cool. I have also talked my friend into buying a slingshot Recoil, I am going to love to test that one out. So, the Shanes are going to change a little next year, so don't go overboard on a new board, spend a little money, then get the 2009 Shane that will be rockin a totally new shape.

I went from my 2006 Shane to a Slingshot Recoil... will never go back. I loved the Shane, but the recoil keeps my knees from getting killed. Nothing softer than a slingshot, and awesome pop too if you edge correctly.

Brandon- there isnt anything i dont like about it i just want a change. if ur thinking about geting that board i do not think you will be dissapionted.

Brandon kee- i didnt know they were changing the shape for 09.

nick- i have not ridin the flex boards. i would like to try one out but i cant because i do not live close enough to go and demo one.

I second (or third or fourth) the Slingshots. If I wasn't hooked up with my 08 Tribute, I would have invested in an 08 recoil with the PB bindings! Nothing like the feel of those flex boards, I love it!

Slingshot
