Winter Trip South Florida

Okay everyone help me out here. We live on lake Guntersville in Alabama and we wanna go to south Florida this winter when its way cold. Any clue where to go and does anyone that knows the area wanna hitch a ride. It will be like Jan or Fed or maybe both. We are just lost on any clue what a good lake is, and oh yeah what about gators. DO you just chance it or what???????

blue lagoon is a good lake. The best places to go wakeboarding are marine stadium and ski hole they are in the bay and part of key beyscayne. No gaters, although theres been rumor going around that someone caught a 14 foot tiger shark at the ski hole last month but who knows.

You live in Alabama? Dont you have gators there? We just deal with them here, the jet skiers and tubers are more of a problem then the gators, but you never know - thats what gives you the initiative to land every trick!!

gator boards is in naples, and usually ride on the river down here in fort myers.

Thanks for the mental support, if its not gators its sharks, well I think I could take a gator but a shark I dunno. If yall see a guy wakeboarding with three knives a gun and a harpoon strapped to his ass its me, dont be scared to say hi.........

I live in S. FL and I'll give you a pull if you get down here. Only chicks are scared of gators by the way. Statistically, only 12 people have died from gator attacks since they started counting (before ww11). None of them boarders. Also, sharks are way more dangerous, as are snakes, and even falling coconuts.

of course the latest gator death was last week!!!
