I'm at the DFW boat show and found a good deal on a 2013 Slingshot Hooke and RAD boots. Tell me, how is this board behind the boat? Looking for lots of pop and soft landings. Need input before I drop the $$$.

Great board! I love mine! Lots o pop and soft landings for sure! Much more so than my byerly monarch. Also slides around easy when you want it to. I don't have the RADs(velcro straps right?) but will prob look to buy some soon!

Yeah, I've watched that video about a million times. Just wanted some input from actual riders, not a salesperson.

i have ridden the hooke the past 2 years and it is by far my favourite set up ! sooo much pop with super soft landings. the best part is hoow it will release i is very tight and agressive when you want it to be but it can also be very for giving. hands down my favorite slinghshot board. as for bindings the rads are unreal they redesigned them this year and they are so great i have ridden those and the shredtowns and depending how you want your boot to fit they are both amazing the material that is used in the liner is so awesome. they are most comfortable things ive ever ridden and ive ridden pretty much all the bindings on the market. its also a great board at the cable once you take the fins off .. all in all its by far my most favouite thing to ride, boat, cable you name it.

Just picked up a 2013 Hooke and threw my 2012 Ronix Ones on it. Can't wait to get out and ride it!

I ride the 2011 Hooke behind cable but mainly boat. It is definitely well suited for the boat. Definitely not as flexy as say the reflex, or recoil, but definitely still a flex board, but yea definitely great all around
