Hi all, I just got the boat back from service where they replaced the dash/cruise control screen and actuator for the power wedge. Well today we took her out and started up fine the wedge went down no problem but when we tried to the wedge wouldn't go up. We also had no mph on the screen though the rpms were displaying fine. I do know you have to be moving in order to bring the wedge up but it would not go up anywhere between idle and 1100rpm moving. Would this be because the speedometer not recognizing speed that the wedge wont come up? The Airmar part also was leaking like crazy, not sure if it always did that but it put a good amount of water in the hull in less than 30 minutes. But if i understand correctly that is whats is hooked up to the paddle wheel that gives the speed for the boat. I read to check the paddle wheel underneath which i'll do in the morning but maybe its time for a new airmar system.

I'll be calling the mechanic in the morning also but want to see if anyone else has run into similiar problems. I'm hoping the fix isn't to bad because its a long haul to take the boat back. Thanks for the help.
