What does everyone use to wipe down there boat at the end of the day on the water? Not asking what kind of towels you use but do you just wipe off the water or do you spray on a cleaner/wax to help in the removal of instant water spots?

I use Meguires quick wax.

mix of half water half Apple cider vinager. Takes all of the water spots off and leaves a nice shiny finish when done. It does nothing to protect the gel from UV rays but it is great for water spots and a quick clean up.

We've been using this on our boat for about a year now, amazing results...

1/2 water
1/4 quick wax
1/4 vinegar

Put it all in a spray bottle, spray, and wipe off before it dries.

I use a mixture of:

Water 80%
vinegar 10%
Cheap liquid Turtle Wax 10%

The exact mixture varies each time, but it has worked great for me.

Black Magic Spray Detailer - it's free on rebate all the time.

I spray it on the wet boat then use the "Absorber" chamios to dry it all down.

Babes huh.. Is everyone using the green stuff??

A friend has some and we werent impressed with the water spot removing ability.. It did apply a nice quick shine, almost like meguiars final inspection..

the purple bottle is the Babes water spot remover. vinegar/water mixture works just as well for 10% of the price but Babes doesn't leave you smelling like vinager.

add a drop or two of vanilla to the mix of water and vinegar -- makes a nicer smell (reminds me of the good times on my boat!) and rocks!

EagleOne Spray-on wax...pretty good at getting the spots off. if i do a good job at cleaning it the boat still looks brand new

meguires detailer daily/weekly and quick wax monthly.

meguires "detailer" and meguires "quick clean marine" and meguires "final inspection" are all the same exatct product in diffrent bottles. They are all great wipe down products. I use them all. Its easy to get and cost's around $10 a bottle.

But if you go threw the stuff real fast and your tired of dropping $10 a bottle every other wipe down you can try a mixture of car wash soap and water. Cheep and easy. You can get a Jug of car wash soap for around the same price as bottle of meguires detailer. and the bottle of car wash soap will last you forever.

Lucas "slick mist" is a great product
Liqued Diamond is also another great product
Babes Boat Bright is also very good.

I like trying new stuff and have tryed a bunch of diffrent wipe down stuff. I want to try the Boat Bling just because lots of people here have recomended it.

I like the babes stuff enough that I bouhgt the $30 container of it. I thinks it's 1-1.5 gallons. If the vanilla makes the vinager / water solution smell better I'll be doing that in the future to save money. Not to mention I can get it at the grocery store and I like the idea of not having to make a trip to a boat dealer.

Driven Quick Spray. It seems to work good and removes dirt easily. Also, it doesn't remove any wax.
