scott- You have no idea how glad I am to find someone in my area who knows what a wakeboard is! I'm in Carrollton. I learned to wakeboard recently while I was in California. I was using my sister's board then and I'm working on getting my own now. I hope it's okay that I don't have a board yet, and I hope the offer will still be open when I do.

Hey Pimp (should I feel at all akward calling you that? )
I'm actually from that area, but got transplanted to Cali. I come home pretty often and would bring my board if it meant a pull. Hopefully, I'll get to come home in the Spring...you still gonna be around?

Not to far from Cincinnatti, my husband just taught me to wakeboard. He works between Maysville KY and Cincy for CSX, says the river down there in the mornings is very nice butter Have Fun

scott,
nice job at the no wake tournament!
Old                09-11-2005, 3:17 PM Reply
thanks cassie, not the best but i was pretty happy with my run. i wanted to hit the slider but my board is starting to split and i have to return it for warranty so it wasnt worth voiding that. i fell on a tantrum which is one of my money tricks. its always different going out and riding in front of new people plus having to get used to a boat i never ride behind. maybe cause its what i learned to ride behind but i dont think you can touch a team edition. The new malibu's are definately improving from the 2000's. The wake has gotten a lot steeper which is what i love about the nautique. did you ride in it?

if your asking about the tournament - yes. i was the only girl to compete but thats ok. I didnt go in the boat there but i always feel like the wake we have behind our boat is bigger but that could just be me.

The river is pretty nice in the mornings toward Maysville, I store my boat in Brooksville, Ky so thats usually where we go if we want to go somewhere close. We also go to Eastfork and Brookville. It's good to see boarders from the area, usually never see any while I'm out.

Gals, I'd like to see some of you come up to Columbus, Ohio on the weekend of August 5th and 6th for the Scioto Wakefest. We're going to feature both wakeboarding and wake surfing skills. Come on up and give my daughter someone to compete with and have some fun too!
