Works awesome in my buddies X2. I could feel it while underway last weekend sitting behind the capt. chair. You can pull it out and stick it up your shirt too. there are two ports in his.

I used to think a heater was a waste of time and money thinking what good could it possibly do. But now that my x2 came with a heater in it, I think it's awesome. I have 2 ports on mine and it's neat that they pull out and you can stick under your shirt or towel. It's just enough to take out the chill on those cool nites or mornings. Any new boat of mine will definately have a heater from now on. If it doesn't have one, I'll add it.

I have a heater on my Super Air Nautique.

It works great for the driver. It works pretty good for the observer, especially if they can drape a blanket or towell overthemselves and pull the hose out and hold it under the blanket.

It is useless to the people sitting in the back.

the heater is a must for girls that ride in the boat. Its the difference between them being cold and miserable and having a good time. Its a necesity. You should definetly get it.So far i think mines been used every time i go out.

cheers guys I guess what Im after is whether it warms the boat (preferable) or has a pull out hose which warms 1 person (Not so good for me)

I will never own another boat without a heater. My old 00' X-Star had 2 ports as well. One pull out hose and one directional vent by the drivers feet. Its a great way to help extend the season and more importantly silence a cold rider (usually a female). It has been a life saver on many occasions. Throw a towel over you and put the heater hose under it and BAM!!! Same goes for the hot/cold shower too, although the heater gets more use.. My 03' X-Star has both as well.
