My wife is due for a new board.

She's an intermediate rider. Can clear the wake heelside and is working on clearing it toe side. She can carve, slash, surface spin and cruise along pretty well.

The biggest thing I'm looking for is something that takes off consistently and lands softly. She's notorious for casing the wake, getting bucked and slamming super hard.

Any suggestions? Thanks for any help.

Slingshot Pearl or the 2013 Slingshot Choice. I think both are great boards and she will love one. My gf loves her pearl. She rides about the same as your wife. She went from a Liquid Force Jett to the SS Pearl and has never looked back. The Jett is now our boat board.

I've put a lot of riders of various skill levels on the O'Brien Spark. It's a very fun, user-friendly board! Good luck!
