I'm new to wakeskating.. I got my first, a LF Faction, two weeks ago and we pull with a WaveRunner XL700 which does surprisingly well. We're about to pick up a nice Bayliner with a 7 foot pylon. I got up the first time I tried, which was a deep water start. Just looking for advice, tips, pointers, and such. Any advice is appreciated.. I've got one question too. When we get this Bayliner, would you recommend towing from the pylon or the standard tow hook?
Thanks!

I definately miss my firebird but am having a blast on my boat. I got a little ski boat '88 Marlin Magnum with an inboard 350, nothing special but it gets the job done. If your ever in the area shoot me an email and I'll give you a pull

That's pretty sweet. We actually just straight up traded a set of 01 yamaha XL700's for a nice bayliner.. pumped to behind a boat again! Crazy difference! Thanks for the offer too! That'd be sweet!

Eh, gotta say, it feels better behind the boat. And then you don't listen to the spotter and driver whine the whole time about being cold.. weather's been crap here the whole summer..

"ski > boat"

Re-entry > Inside out

I think this is the first time mitch and I have ever disagreed

i do love me some reentry, but i love flats tricks behind the ski. the pull just feels better, and its cheaper. haha

flats tricks feel weird for me behind a boat. when im behind a boat i pretty much only do reentry.

i think we have disagreed before. im not a fan of bilevels

Forgot about that! Honestly, I'm not too picky. I can ride a single or bi-level as long as it pops well and has a good feel too it. I'm weird like that.
