So I am getting married this month and in making a slide show for people to watch I came across some EPIC old school wakeboard shots! And I thought why not embarrass the hell out of myself and everyone else and post them up!

So everyone lets see them! The pics from when it all began for you.

For me it was in 1992 I think, I got a pink skurfer launch for my Birthday and the rest is history. This shot is from 1993 maybe 94 I am 13 years old, Rocking a awesome wetsuit, Gloves, Slalom Grip, a H.O. Hyperlite Pro, and a Pair of the first “highbacks” (as they were called at the time basically modified Slalom Boots).

Thats all the bigger they would go back then! Look at the way both feet are pointed forward! No Duck Stance.

I'll post some of mine later. No where near as enjoyable as yours though. My first board was a 2001 Premier. I have nothing to share but ugly grabs.

I'll find some old ones to show off my fine fashion of neon pink & green on the Hyplerlite Pro from the early 90's to post.

I'm sure most of you have seen at least portions of this Byerly video from 1994, but it still entertains me every time I watch it....toe plates and all! (Takes away the wake shape/size complaint for life!)

Congrats on the upcoming wedding man, just had my 5 year anniversary and I can tell you it's all good.

I don't have any of the old stuff in digital form but here is a pic from 99! Man did I have out of control style.

Will wakeboarding be incorporated into the wedding? My friend that barely even rides but has a boat went riding during the reception, but it was a lakeside reception. I can't believe she was down with it though.
