I just ordered 2 wetsound 485's. I currently have the Fusion T-series and was wondering what kind of difference I can expect. I have heard I should expect a loss of clarity but they will be louder. How is the sound clarity between the two? What about in the boat? Currently in the boat I have 6 pair of JL 7.7 Components, 2 JL Marine Subs and a JL W-7 10".

Mike I'm making the same switch as you. I would def. recommend a line driver or some other route of adjusting the volume on the Wet Sounds independantly of the rest of the speakers.

As for the sound, at this point, I'm flying blind. I haven't had the chance just yet to hear them and only have others opinions.

you can expect to go deaf and the clarity is great if you have them setup correctly

Theres a 220 on the river we ride at with that set up and it absolutely rocks. We were lowering our boat into the water and they flew by and we were still singing to the music when they passed the bend. If they're set up with a good amp clarity should not be an issue.
