Seattle is finally going to get a break in the weather. For the next three days I'll be riding this.

It's about time. My wife is pretty much fed up with me being home on the weekends.

That water temp was taken on 10/5. It's under 50 now!

J-Rod,

Believe it or not, I'll probably be dueling it out with the Inland Surfer Clan. They've decided surfing is the hip thing to do in the winter now. That Centurion of theirs throws a wake that that rivals a Bone Crusher double up.

Coop,

Probably around fifty degree water now, and air temps are in line with what Joe posted. As long as the sun is hitting our black dry suits it's fine. If it's foggy, you can get pretty chilly.

Brett,

Thinking of switching teams?

Joe,

Are you and Frankie planning on coming up Christmas? If you guys are, maybe we can grab Hahn while he's here and a couple of the other Lk Samm folks, and meet for lunch or something. Let me know.

cliff, not heading to seattle this christmas. we're goin' somewhere colder...nebraska (for frankie's sister's grad) then to south dakota for christmas! otherwise, it would've been great to come hang out!

actually, now that i think about it, we're considering stopping in seattle for a couple days or so, so we'll let you know.

thanks!

Cliff, If things go as planned I will be moving into a house at the very southeast corner of the the lake. I plan on moving in in a couple of weeks. Looks like I might need to invest in a drysuit and make it out with you guys. The house has a dock and covered lift so if I can figure out how to run a heater into the engine compartment of the boat I might put the Cal-Air in the water. I guess since the house is about a 1/4 mile from the launch I might just have to do that.

Was out on Sunday on Sammamish. It was cold but a bunch of fun and glassy.
Brett, when did you get a Cal-Air?

Cliff - have no fear, the inland surfer boats are off the water. The lake is yours again.

I don't know how you talked me into riding on friday but hopefully the water will be nice. The inland surfer guys won't be around for the winter so you will have the lake all to yourself. That is if you are crazy enough to jump in that cold water.

If you guys are looking for a third I'd be interested in being a spotter, and maybe riding.

It was a chilly one this morning, but well worth the water conditions.

Dude! That's not even funny. I'm cold just looking at those photos.

Cliff I'll be up there for Christmas. No way are you getting me in that water anymore. I walked outside last night, thought it was a bit chilly. I put on a hoody and got in my car. Temp was still 68 degrees. I started laughing pretty hard! Man in Seattle if it was 68 degrees, Id be in shorts, T and driving with my windows down with my sunglasses on. I'm officially a wuss.

Doug,

Trust me Buddy, I'd trade places with you guys in a heart beat if I had the chance. Up here if I want to ride, I have to brave the elements, and well... I'm not going to miss out on riding.

It looks like you guys are gonna have an awesome time at your turkey weekend event.

Cliff I'm a little jealous. I'd be riding still if I didn't tear my acl. Thought about breakin the boat out just to tow people and get out on the water. Oh well.

Sorry I missed it, Cliff and Laci. I would have joined you if I were in town. But I'm in Palm Springs where it's 80 degrees, and then Hawaii next week.

Cliff,

Hope you are able to find good water. I'll just have to settle for Costa Rica for the next couple of weeks. I guess me and Brad will have to make do with temps in the 80's. PS- I am standing on ice as i took these pictures.

I was in Whistler last weekend for opening weekend. Sunday was excellent -- way better than I was expecting. We got like 4"-6" of new snow Saturday night.

I miss the water, though, even with the cold temps. Hawaii (Big Island) should be a lot of fun.

Have a great time in C.R. Troy!

The water was great, something like 20 degrees warmer than the air when we started. Cliff's wake still takes a little getting used to after a summer on the wonderful X2 wake. I felt like I was learning to ride all over again.

Looks like the water was really nice for you.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH!

-3C LOL!. dude...... +30C down under this afternoon and no chance of frost. Was offered a ride this morning but hasd plans and didn't want to chance the ankle re-covery with a fall.

Side Note - Met Amber Wings parents on the Hawksbury Bridge to Bridge Ski Race this morning. REALLY nice people. Seems she is good friends with the folks we're staying with and knows Tracy's dad from the old racing days.

Good Times! Cheers mates.
