Does anyone know if you can rent a houseboat on a lake in the Phoenix area. I remember that Ryan mentioned something about Bartlett having that, but it may not now that the water is so low...any ideas? My office is trying to do an outing for our anniversary, and I figure that I might as well try to get them out on the lake. It would have to be either Bartlett, Saguaro or Pleasant--Canyon is too far and Powell is waaayyyyy too far.

What about Roosevelt? They have nice houseboat rentals out there. However, if you say Canyon is too far, then I'm assuming you don't want to drive 1.5 hours to roosevelt..?

FYI..Canyon lake isn't that much of a further drive than Sagauro.

Hey Dave,
It's not really a "houseboat" but they have lodging out there. Give Brian a call at the Marina, I am sure that he has vacancies and the he will most likely even cut you a deal if you ask! I think Pleasant had at least one regular houseboat that they rent out, but am not sure. Roosevelt has them also, but that is probably to far away.

Yeah, it looks like they're going more for the golf resort type of thing...I'm still trying to push for Bondurant Racing School, even though it probably won't happen...Did I see the other Ryan's boat for sale on Craigslist? What's up with that?

I think the only Bondurant program that you could go to is the executive driver's program (AKA the anti-kidnapping class), all the others now require some level of previous racing experiance, even the Roush course.

They actually have a website just for group activities and do a bunch of corporate team building crap that they also cater. No idea how expensive it is, though...

Was that Ryan's boat for sale?

Looks like it. He had it listed here last year too. You can email him.
