You can get them in a couple of different colors. They are what MC uses on all of the prostar and some x-series boats. really good quality. I used these when I updated my 91 Tristar a few years back.

My latest tow rig: 2012 Dodge 3500 MegaCab Cummins DRW 4x4 Laramie loaded with almost every option, stock for now but will be getting a full delete job and tune in the next couple months.

Old tow rig was a 2005 Silverado Z71 on 33s and it was an absolute POS. First and last bowtie that I'll ever own. It could hardly pull my old Bayliner 185 without bottoming out on the axle, and anything over 50 was an absolute nightmare to drive.

Will be picking up this bad boy next Wednesday. 2013 Tige RZ4 with every option available except the extra tower speakers (will probably add them at the end of the season). I'll get a pic of the full tow setup when I go pick it up next week.

Thanks, I'm pretty proud of them (as were the dealers for what they cost...lol). You know you're pimpin' when you have A/C built into the seats LOL. But 6-8 seems pretty low even towing...I was getting about 10 out of the Silverado, and that thing was an absolute crap pile. My new Dodge gets around 16 on the highway, and about 14 in town normally. With my old Bayliner on the back it only dropped to 13 running 65+ on the hwy, and most of the time I forgot it was even back there. I'm sure I'll notice a little more difference since the weight of the RZ4 is almost 2000# heavier, but I don't think it'll be too much. If I were you I'd look at doing a couple upgrades under the hood and to the brain to see if I could fix that mileage....

How much does your boat weigh? That sounds low, even for a titan. I get 9-10 towing and 13-14 not towing. You may have cracked exhaust manifolds.

D.F.T.R (Josh) You need to get someone that knows Nissan to check the alpha readings? If you have an aftermarket air filter element get rid of it. Factory only Nissans don't like aftermarket air filters too much turbulence for the air flow meter. I realize that your Tomcat ( which is sick by the way) is heavier than my 210. I drive fast 70-80 A/C on and I get 10.5 to 11 mpg with my Titan, my Armada before it got 12 consistently.... They are weak on MPG but something doesn't seem right.

My Two cents
p.s. here's my 11 Titan

Just picked up my new tow vehicle yesterday. 2013 2500HD Duramax Z71 Crew Cab LTZ. Came from a 6.2L 1500. Loved towing with it today. There is no comparison between the 1/2 ton with the 6.2L and the 3/4 ton with the diesel. I doubt I'll ever revert back to gas for a truck. Even driving without towing feels so much nicer.

I bet anything your stock exhaust manifolds are cracked, they are terribly designed both sides on my 04 were cracked, i replaced them with jba shorty headers and gained alot of hp back and mpg, titans are so underrated powerwise, cant wait to see the new titans next year.

Look into what natedogg suggested. I bought a titan with cracked exhaust manifolds...free replacement under 80,000 miles per EPA rules! I get 13.5 - 15 mpg towing, 17.5 unloaded on my brief 55mph commute to work. Either you drag race with your boat trailer or something isn't right under the hood.

Sold the old truck outright and waited patiently. Found this one in Phoenix. Had it shipped up to Vancouver. Nice truck, love the Cummins, had some minor maintenance issues but got it all taken care of and loving it. The programmer, EGR, and DPF deletes was money well spent. I'll easily make up for the cost of fuel in the first year.

I would seriously suggest rethinking that and go ahead and do it now. I've got a 2012 Cummins with only 12K on the clock and I'm about to do my deletes. The dealership has to be able to prove that any mod done was the source of a malfunction before they void the warranty, and honestly the EGR system does more damage in the long run than good. It will seriously shorten your oil life and in turn the life of the motor. Get rid of it, the DEF/DPF system, and install a tuner to cancel the CELs and you'll be good to go making a ton more power and getting better fuel mileage at the same time.

Oh I fully understand the benefits of getting all that junk out from underneath the truck. Unfortunately, from what I can gather, GM has put their foot down. If you tamper with anything emission related, you are kissing your warranty goodbye. Don't quote me on this, But i have also heard you can be ticketed. Cops are looking for new trucks that blow smoke.

I am not worried about being ticketed though, I would just like to keep my warranty. I don't currently have any connections with with my local GM dealer. BUT i can assure you, come 100k miles it will all be removed.
