Hyperlite, man are you for real? I can't believe nobody commented on your truck with the frame completely broken down for powder coating. That's intense. You've got some serious dedication. Cool.

John, I had a very hard time not going with black wheels. HAHA My last two trucks had black with polished lip. I run a truck accessory store and I'm burnt out on seeing them also now, everyone wants them, even soccer moms. Now I just have to find another set of wheels to put on the boat trailer.

ctimrun, good to see someone still rockin' the 3/4 ton burb!
Back in the '60s , '70s, and '80s that was the tow vehicle of choice with horse people, travel trailer people , and boat owners.
Then in the '90s the soccer moms got wind of them , and the 1/2 ton version became the new "station wagon".
I don't see that many 3/4 ton subs any more, and I think it is still one of the most capable tow vehicles out there.

Wade, that Pioneer looks really clean in there! almost like it came with it.
I have the same dash, and that would be a nice upgrade for my old workhorse, a lot cheaper than a new truck!
how tough was the install? did you do it yourself, or have it done?
Does that unit have the Pandora link?

Thanks Ryan!

That's an 05 extended cab, 6.0L gas burner. 7" Cognito lift, TB's cranked for 2" more. Rear has 6" Deaver lift springs, and 2" blocks. 18X10 Diamo wheels, 37X13.50X18 Toyo Open Country M/T tires. Also added a pair of Kodiak Sidewinder steps. Anyone that doesn't have those on a lifted truck, or AMP Research steps for that matter, really needs to look into them.

Heath, that's a 2008 GMC 1500, not a 2500....

7.5" Rough Country lift, 22X12 Ion Forged Terminators, 35X12.50X22 Toyo Open Country M/T's. I also had 2" billet spacers under the rear wheels. The lift made the track width a little wider then it already was, so by bringing the rear wheels out 2", it was perfect front to rear. The boat made the truck sag 5" at the rear fender. Thanks for the compliment.

Took a while to get teh wheels and tires.
