These are pictures of only my second time boarding this season after a 4 year break. I've got a long way to go (weak muscles, bad balance, and a few others), but I absolutely loved it. I had to go behind my cousin's Pontoon boat unfortunately. My cousin's I/O ski boat was in the shop. But, no matter what it was, I couldn't turn down the chance to ride.

The Belmont rides great, just slick enough for me that I feel like I can break it loose quite easily, but it still sticks when I need it to.

Anyway, a lot of my Dad's side of the family was down there, and all of them were just so psyched to see me get up and ride. Whether or not I rode well, they were just so happy to see someone up on the water on July 4th.

Also, you'll see in these pictures that the lake is really dirty. It has rained like crazy here over the past week (blessed with great weather today though), so all the dirt has been unsettled. Water looks really muddy. And, the water was VERY choppy. Not an inch of butter out there...anywhere.

Anyway, without further ado, here are the pics. I'm just riding...no tricks.

Hey Brandt what kind of boat do you have? I noticed that your wake was kinda washed out and small. Come to think of it it looks like mine.

LOL, I'm boarding behind a Pontoon...only thing they had down there, so I used it. Hey, I got to ride, so I'm happy. That would explain why the wake is so washed out.

I took a break simply because I graduated from college, and for some reason, watersports took a back seat. I was trying to get myself on my feet in the real world, and other things ended up taking priority...plus, the fact that I had no boat did not help. But, now that I'm set and can afford a boat, I'm gettin back into it.

Great to see that you got out.

Sorry I was short on the phone. iIt was noisy in the mall and I didn't want to be rude to the folks I was there with. How did you like the board?

Jeremy... I just notices your from Lima.... I went to College at Ohio Northern University in Ada. Hows the ski season up there? I didn't start boarding until I moved to South Carolina. So i'm spoiled with about 7 months of skiable weather.
