Of course, chevy has the most comfortable interiors, no need to ride home on a plywood seat after a long day at the lake.

CAR- I am from Salinas too and was wondering if you had your trailer painted or powdercoated. If so where did you get it done?
Old     (super_air)      Join Date: Jun 2005       02-14-2007, 10:35 AM Reply
Nick- It is factory paint on the trailer,Trail-Rite is the brand of trailer. I guess I am just into red, my last boat was red and so was the trailer. Did you just buy your Sang-Air?
Old     (ndavis03)      Join Date: Jul 2006       02-14-2007, 10:45 AM Reply
I've had the Sang-Air for 2 years now. The stock trailer color was red, but has since turned a real light red/pink and I am trying to decide on powdercoating or painting it soon. I have seen you many times at Naci and San Antonio. My fiance is Mina, who used to hang out with Ali & Brit. BTW, sick setup.
Old     (super_air)      Join Date: Jun 2005       02-14-2007, 11:06 AM Reply
Nick- Small world,i have not seen Mina in a few years, be sure to tell her I said hello. On my Malibu trailer it was faded just like you said kind of red/pink, I think if I was going to re do mine I would lean towards the powder just for durability. Next time you see us stop me and have a beer with us.

Your H1 is a gorgeous rig as I am sure you know and many have said. My dad has a 2006 black 4 door soft top with the allison tranny and the duramax. It's pretty nice. We did indeed talk last year about your boat. I would very much have liked to have purchased it had the geography not been such a long haul.

Mike,

Many of us on here know Fisher. She's an Old School Wakeworlder and good friends with many of us.

I almost bought her boat when she decided to sell. It's one of the trickest original hull VLX's around.
Old     (pdxviperguy)      Join Date: Jul 2006       02-15-2007, 5:51 PM Reply
unless you just want to be able to say you have an 06 it's really not that big a difference. The rocking when you come to a stop was eliminated and the interior is a bit different than your but other than that they are the same great truck as your current rig. I just had a bunch of mods done to mine which included a computer ugrade that gave me abnother approx 100 hp as well as about 90 lb ft of torque. It's about the same specs s the 06 in terms of power now. The cost is significantly less than an 06 of course. Between that and some exhaust upgrades, upgrades to the turbo, and a few other things you can make ones like our actually have as good if not better performance than a brand new one. I am thinking of having a custom interior done as I enjoy driving it as my daily driver now. I noticed you have an H2 as well. Do you find that having both you tend to drive one more than another? I thought I would post this for you to see being a fellow hummer guy. I use these to help market my company.

i no longer have the h2, i bought a 07 denali but it serves the same purpose as the h2, when i am around town i drive the h1, if i am going any distance i use the denali, the h2 was a very nice truck and i am sure i will own another. I also want a lifted h3 w/ some mudders and a couple of winches, the h3 w/ the adventure package has locking diffs and they can be great offroad.

yes, I know what you mean about the h1 and long distance use. It gets to be a bit much. I just picked up an h3 with the adventure package today and can't wait to get it off road. I do alot of marketing and printing work for the hummer dealers around the world hence my heavy involvement with the brand. They are great fun but each one serves it's own unique purpose. Those denali's are great vehicles. I would like to pick one up at some point.
Old     (supra24ssv)      Join Date: Mar 2006       02-16-2007, 5:22 AM Reply
peter, i have been offroad with h'3 and they are very good, i would not say this if i had not seen it myself, i like your jeep, but those rocks can be done very easy by a h3 set up right, now a h1 do i even have to argue that point
