I used my new LG yesterday for the first time and sank after one set. I read a few posts back a while back on some ways that people added foam to their handle to make it float. I tried a search with no luck. Anyone know where and what type of foam was added?

It's that spray in foam you can get from the hardware store. Beware though that it is messy and begin to sink again at some point. I would try to exchange it for one that floats. I thought they had fixed this issue. Mine floats.

Who do we contact about a non-floater? I bought mine from wakeside, but it was in last september and I have used mine several times.

I had read here, prior to buying, that ones that sunk only sunk after being in the water for awhile. Ours sunk right out of the box. It floated when we first put it in the water, but sank after the first fall of the first set. I don't want to go the spray foam route. I thought I read that someone put foam from a noodle or something? Anyone remember that post? Is this a warranty issue?

I had the same issue with mine. Sank after the very first set. I bought mine about two months ago.

Robert, I remember the post about someone cutting strips of the foam noodle and putting in the handle. I would like to know about that also. Would you put it in the aluminum bar or in the plastic side parts? Either way, how would you get the end caps off without messing it up?

The ends slide off with ease, but don't see a way to slide foam though the handle. I found a post here:

I guess if you cap the ends with foam, it keeps water out and stays a float? I will try and see?

you could zip tie foam insulation (for copper pipes) to the 2 legs of the triangle. that foam would make a huge mess.
