How much difference is there between a 142 and a 145 board? I am roughly 6"0 and 220lbs and was currently riding a 145 SS. Long story short, the SS broke and I can either get an '09 142 or a '10 145. Just wondering how much difference there would be between the two boards. Tks

3 cm.

In all seriousness, it may feel different for a couple of sets, but I think you will transition easily. I can ride a 139 one set and switch to a 143 the next and not really tell a difference as far as length is concerned.

The difference is about 1.5 inches ie 2.54cm = 1inch( I knew college was good for something) but in reality I dont really see it making too much of a difference some say you're supposed to go a size up with flex boards but I ride the 138 Severance instead of the 142...So I dont think it will affect you either way.

not a lot i ride 4 different boards between 138 and 142. if your a pro doing difficult tricks maybe you could tell. but the average joe like me all i can tell is bigger board equals bigger pop. if you are on cable bigger board is a little bit harder to spin.but at your size you probably won't notice. i'm 5'6" and 165lbs.
