I'm having trouble with clearing the wake. I know you need to stand tall at the wake an I do it but I still can't clear it. I have a big enough wake and I run at 20 mph maybe if I go faster??? Also I run with the rope all the way out (80 feet). I weigh 150 lbs and ride a 130 cm. board maybe I need to get a bigger board???

I would suggest that you bring your rope length in to about 65 to 70 ft at a speed between 20-22 mph first. if you are just learning how to go wake to wake, 80ft is much too long. and make sure you keep your edge all the way thru the wake so that the most energy in your cut is at the point which you leave the wake.

but once your wake jumps are strong and you want to ride further back 80 ft should probably be driven at about 24-26 mph.

good luck. hope this helps

and you may want to look into a board thats about 136 or so in size too.

Shorter rope for sure. P.S. a big wake is NOT necessary to clear the wake, it just mainly gives you bigger air

Agreed Shorten the rope, hold your edge and speed up a little. Board is optional but that cost $
