I have a 2001 Xstar and I have a friend with a '98 Prostar...I'm wondering if my boat will fit on his trailer? Any help here would be really appreciated...

It will fit but the trailer will be out of balance since the '98 is a direct drive and you have a v-drive. It would trailer horrible because the axle on the trailer is too far froward for your boat.
